STA standardised pipe and tank test rig

Bringing together standardised testing equipment and ensuring the integrity of the gauge, STA’s pipe and tank test rig’s simple design is key to its success.

A finalist in the 2018 APEA awards innovation category the rig can test up to five lines at once. The addition of a sub-manifold enables testing on each pipe island and an ATEX-approved digital gauge ensures safety at all times. The rig is then housed in a Peli waterproof casing, ensuring it can withstand the knocks of day-to-day use on petrol forecourts and in the back of an installer's van.

Warren Peters says: "Having trialled prototypes with clients, forecourt installers now confirm it’s a game changer on site. Whilst it’s never been fully marketed, word has spread across the industry and over half our installer base has purchased the kit and additional test caps and plugs."
