STA Technical’s Third Party Support to the MOD
With STA’s tank and test rig a key piece of equipment for pump companies and installers alike, Adler & Allan used the test rig on a nationwide fuel testing project undertaken on RAF sites.
With the ability to test up to five lines at once, the test rig benefits from a sub-manifold that enables testing on each pipe island, whilst its ATEX-approved digital gauge ensures safety at all times. For durability, the rig is then housed in a Peli waterproof casing.

We used the STA test rig for a line testing project at RAF sites across the UK, as the accuracy and accountability of the gauge was crucial. And STA’s gauge recalibration service provides certification to five points and is 100% traceable giving us the peace of mind we needed for a project of this scale.”
STA Technical Working with Ipswich Borough Council
STA is currently liaising with Ipswich Borough Council’s Greenways Countryside project to develop a removable bollard to allow official access but prevent unwanted vehicles entering parks and nature reserves around the town.
Other projects involving supplying to the MOD include working with Octane Holding Group and the provision of under sumps for MOD Thorpe Camp, in Norfolk.
